Boston Video is built on respect, authenticity, and positive interactions. These guidelines help us maintain a safe, welcoming community for everyone.

Our Core Values

We expect all users to uphold these principles:

• Respect: Treat every user with kindness and courtesy, even when you disagree.
• Authenticity: Be yourself. No fake profiles, impersonation, or misleading information.
• Safety: Prioritize your wellbeing and others'. Report concerns immediately.
• Inclusivity: Welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
• Privacy: Respect others' boundaries and personal information.

Expected Behavior

We encourage you to:

• Engage in friendly, meaningful conversations
• Be patient with language barriers or cultural differences
• Use appropriate language – keep it clean and considerate
• Listen actively and show genuine interest
• Disconnect gracefully when a conversation ends naturally
• Report violations to help keep the community safe

Prohibited Behavior

Violations will result in immediate bans. Do NOT:

• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Share explicit sexual content or engage in sexually explicit conversations
• Post or display violent, hateful, or discriminatory content
• Share pornographic material or engage in sexual acts on camera
• Record, screenshot, or distribute conversations without consent
• Promote illegal activities or services
• Spam, advertise, or solicit others for commercial purposes
• Impersonate others, including Boston Video staff
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or tamper with the platform
• Share personal information about others without permission
• Use the platform while under the influence of drugs or alcohol to the point of impairment

Enforcement

We take violations seriously:

• Automated systems detect and flag inappropriate content
• Human moderators review reports and take action
• Violations may result in temporary or permanent bans
• Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement
• Appeals can be submitted via contact form

Reporting a Violation

If you witness or experience behavior that violates these guidelines:

• Use the in-app "Report" button immediately
• Provide as much detail as possible (username, time, description)
• Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours
• Do not engage with the violator – disconnect and report instead

Age Requirement

Boston Video is strictly for users 18 years and older. If you suspect someone under 18 is using the platform, please report them immediately. We do not knowingly allow minors on our service.
